A career is rarely a straight line. Mine has developed through industry, project leadership, university teaching, entrepreneurship, mentoring and a continuing curiosity about the world. Learning and adopting digital technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) has improved my knowledge. 

Today, I bring these experiences together through education, consulting, career development and creative exploration. Here I share my work, ideas, photography and reflections from that journey.

My professional journey spans project management, engineering and process industries, higher education, consulting and entrepreneurship.

After years of managing and contributing to complex projects, I began sharing that experience with postgraduate students and working professionals. For nearly a decade, I have taught at leading universities in Singapore, connecting established principles with the realities of modern organisations. This includes digital transformation related topics such as AI in Project Management, Project Management in Digital World, and Environmental Sustainability in Digital World. 

I am also the founder of TheGritConsulting Pte. Ltd., through which I develop consulting, professional learning and career-development initiatives. Thee all revolves around helping the industry to improve their profit margins by improving business processes.

Across these roles, one idea remains constant: experience becomes more valuable when it is examined, applied and shared..

Writing and Creative Exploration

Documenting observations about work, learning, travel, culture, infrastructure and sustainability through articles and photography. I am also author of book “Searching, Securing, and Managing a New Job” which is available on Amazon.
